2026 Employee Engagement Survey Opens July 13

Your feedback helps us better understand the experiences, challenges, and opportunities that exist across UConn Health.


Starting July 13, a link will be available to take the survey or to use your email invitation from Press Ganey on behalf of Dr. Andy.

Employee feedback is one of the most important ways UConn Health understands the experiences of its workforce and identifies opportunities for improvement.

Since launching our first Employee Engagement Survey in 2016, employee feedback has helped inform decisions, strengthen workplace culture, and guide improvements across the organization.

In 2024, more than 3,000 employees participated, helping UConn Health achieve its highest engagement score to date. Those results continue to inform improvement efforts throughout the organization.

As UConn Health continues to grow and evolve, understanding the experiences of our workforce remains essential to our success.

  • Why do we conduct the survey?

    The Employee Engagement Survey helps UConn Health:

    • Understand our workforce's experiences
    • Identify organizational strengths
    • Recognize opportunities for improvement
    • Guide leadership decisions
    • Measure progress over time

    Most importantly, the survey provides employees with an opportunity to share their perspectives and help shape the future of UConn Health.

  • When is the survey happening?

    The 2026 online survey period is from July 13 to August 7.

  • Who is eligible to participate?

    The survey is for all active regular payroll employees who have been with the organization over 90 days.
  • How do I take the survey?

    On August 13, eligible employees will receive an email invitation from Press Ganey with a unique link to take the survey. The survey is accessible online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, until midnight on August 7.

    In addition, employees can scan a QR code, available on this page and on posters and video screens across the organization. To open the QR code, just point your mobile phone camera at the code.

  • How long does the survey take?

    Most employees complete the survey in approximately 15 minutes.

  • What kind of questions are asked?

    The survey includes questions related to engagement, leadership, communication, teamwork, workplace culture, well-being, safety, and overall employee experience.

  • Can I take the survey during work hours?

    Yes. Managers have been encouraged to provide employees with an opportunity to complete the survey during work hours whenever operationally feasible.

    We also encourage you to be proactive — ask your manager about the engagement survey and what it means for your team!

  • Is the survey confidential and anonymous?

    Yes, your responses are confidential.

    Press Ganey administers the survey on behalf of UConn Health and shares only aggregated results and anonymous comments with the organization. Individual responses are not shared with managers, leaders, or coworkers.

    While the survey is not strictly anonymous — meaning, your identity is known to Press Ganey for survey administration and reporting purposes — extensive safeguards are in place to protect your confidentiality. Individual responses are combined with those of other employees and reported only in groups large enough to prevent identification.

    Press Ganey follows rigorous protocols to ensure that survey results cannot be attributed to any individual employee.

  • Can my manager see my responses?

    No. Managers and leaders receive only aggregated results and anonymous comments. They do not have access to individual employee responses.

  • What if I encounter problems while taking the survey?

    For survey support, please contact the support line at hdesk@pressganey.com and a representative will respond to your email within 24 to 48 hours. The Help Desk's hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. EST.
